The Art and Science of Reuse and Recovery

There truly is both an art AND a science when it comes to recovering the materials you want and need, and how they can best be reused.  Materials will come to your organization in one of two ways:

1) You will spread the word that you are able to accept donations, and people will bring them to you or, 2) You will desire a particular material and search high and low for a source. Look to a manufacturer that has cast-offs and is willing to donate them to you either via pickup by you or dropoff at your location.  In both scenarios, you will have to make a decision about the materials, how they fit in with your mission, and how they can help you succeed.
